ianw Posted 5 December , 2020 Share Posted 5 December , 2020 Just re-reading this excellent book and paused to look up the details of Rogerson's 2nd Lt Pym (sic) whose disappearance early in the book causes the death of the officer who goes out to seek him. It turns out that he was in fact Victor Pimm who is commemorated on Thiepval. He was from Southfields near Wimbledon but had emigrated to Canada pre-war .
