dazwilson Posted 26 May , 2016 Share Posted 26 May , 2016 When a conscripted soldier had undergone and finished basic training, would they then go on for for corps specialist training? I know I Should know this but..... if the conscripted soldiers did get specialist training where would the soldiers of the Army Veterinary Corps have gone? I know for a fact thay it was not the Defence Animal Training Regiment (formally the Defence Animal Centre) as we did not have that location until sometime after WWII

dazwilson Posted 26 May , 2016 Author Share Posted 26 May , 2016 Craig, My corps should have this information to hand however everyone I have spoke with seem to not really have any idea what went on with the corps through ww1 answer ww2 and can only tell you how more recent conflicts, the brief history published by the corps or how to train a dog to poop on command. My plan is to dig up as much as possible and educate the younger soldiers come through. Could you tell me where to get a copy of this book?
