barkalotloudly Posted 20 May , 2016 Share Posted 20 May , 2016 A wonderful book printed in 1926, not a "blood and guts!" history this battalion supplied drafts to many others and is packed full of names,Roll of honour, Awards etc plus many photographs, even lists of addresses
Pylon1357II Posted 20 May , 2016 Share Posted 20 May , 2016 I would be interested to hear more about this book. The 77th Bn CEF was raised in Ottawa and the surrounding area. I have lived in Ottawa most of my life. and have always been interested in local connections. We always hear about the Battalions that went to France and Flanders, but precious little seems to documented about those units that were broken up and used as reinforcements.
