I am researching my Grandfathers military history as part of an ongoing geneology project and would appretiate any info on the unit/s that he served in.

I have his MiC which shows his service numbers as RFA Gnr 47626 & RGA 224012 and being entitled to the Victory and British (RGA/250B 15125) medals.

Have also found an entry in the London Gazette detailing his award of the MM in October 1918. Needless to say that his original medals are long gone.

I also have his service details from the register of Electors - absent voters for 1918 - 47626 A.Bdr., 142nd H Bty., RGA.

Any information would be welcomed.
