Bit late in posting this up.

9th June 2016, Talk by Suzie Grogan; Shell Shocked Britain. Venue is Seale Hayne, TQ12 6NQ, chance to see some archive photos.

We have two sons of patients treated here in 1918/1919 who are coming, yes, I do mean sons!!

Just off A38 between Bovey Tracey and Ashburton or via Newton Abbot on Ashburton road.

Accommodation on site available if it's a long haul. Bistro and bar to boot.

Tickets are free but have to be booked online (and register)

Tickets close for the event on 8th May, 2 days from now, not sure why.

I'll be there, quietly in audience.

Information from event holders:

Discover Seale-Hayne's fascinating First World War history, when the college was used as a centre for pioneering, compassionate and sometimes controversial treatments for shell shock. A talk by Susie Grogan, author of 'Shell Shocked Britain' will be followed by a chance to view rare photographs from the Seale-Haynians Club archives, on display especially for this event. Complimentary drink and nibbles.
