Somme road closures

Any sources available to show road closures. I see that Lochnagar and Thievpval will have closures just trying to find out how far these extend.. Or other locations.

Have a table booked at Tommies bar Pozieres for 1300,,, will we get there?

I think the short answer to that is 'no'. I have seen a road closure map somewhere - perhaps the CWGC site? The 2nd might be difficult as well, as I think the Canadians have a ceremony at their memorial (2 pm rings a bell) and so I would assume that the Post Road will be closed as well, tho' how far back towards Albert I don't know. The closure zone goes into the 2nd until midday, IIRC. But there is information out there.

Well, judging from the map, you can get into the eastern end of Pozieres and should be able to head out on the minor road to Bazentin, find a suitable place to park the car and then walk in - not a million miles. However, the walking in might not be straight forward ...

As Siege Gunner says, check with Dom direct.

It looks as though it will be a great day to visit the Les Boeufs/Morval/Combles area!
