Ferguson73uk Posted 28 November , 2004 Share Posted 28 November , 2004 I am seeking some help with discovering some background information on my Grandfather who was with the 75th Brigade RFA from September 1914. He was in training from 13th October 1914 to 25th January 1915 and I was wondering if anyone knew where this unit would have trained? Many thanks! Hoplophile Posted 28 November , 2004 Share Posted 28 November , 2004 According to the "Weekly Return" of British forces at home (dated 22 January 1915), the LXXV Brigade, RFA was located at Kilkenny, Ireland. It was part of the 16th (Irish) Division of the 2nd New Army (K2.) The "Weekly Return" can be found at the Public Record Office (WO 114/26.)
