The article states two regiments active in the area at that time...

But i guess there would have been a few others.

so may be a different outcome

But he will be laid to rest in peace correctly at last

Just spotted this in the news - remains of a British soldier recovered near Two Tree Cemetery, Moyenneville, France.

Clive,

Hopefully he can be identified, laid to rest, and any surviving relatives notified.

Visited Two Tree today and saw a big hole close by with a pipe at the bottom, presumably where the remains were recovered
