Guest FRANKBARTHOLOMEW Posted 27 November , 2004 Share Posted 27 November , 2004 What can anybody tell me about Major F D V Wing? I've tried looking everywhere for info on this guy, but to no avail. I know that he held General Officer rank in the Boer War, as two of his staff officers were Alfred Bessell-Browne and Henry Kennedy. What else did Wing do? In which campaigns did he serve? The simple answer is in my library, but actually the information about MG Wing came from, Kane's List of Officers of the Royal Regiment of Artillery, various Army Lists, a bio of him in the RA Regimental News, Red Tabs, and the History of the 12th (Eastern) Division (which is where the photo came from).
