Hywyn Posted 9 March , 2016 Share Posted 9 March , 2016 Well done Amanda. Joseph was formerly Pte 4578 in RWF. His MIC shows him as going over to France 27 12 1914. He is on a 2nd Bn RWF wounded casualty list in the Times dated 23 10 1915. Given his year of birth (1890) I'd lean towards him being a Special Reserve man (plus his Air Record shows 3rd RWF) in which case he enlisted towards end Feb 1912.
