Pte A Render a Prisoner Pte A Render the sixth son of Mr and Mrs J Render of 18 Lickley St, Ripon, Who was reported missing soon after the commencement of the German attack three weeks ago is a prisoner of war in Germany. Render who is 191/2 years of age was educated at the Ripon Cathedral Boys School and afterwards at Jepsons School. He was a Cathedral chorister. He went to France last October. Before the war he was a shorthand typist in the employ of Messra Balfour Beatty & Co, Ripon. Hope this is of some use, please let me know if I can be of any further help. If you would like the actual date I will pop into the library on wednesday and locate it. In the mean while here is a copy of the original.
