Base Markings - 37MM Pom-pom round.

Another recently acquisition. A Maxim Flak M14 37MM pompom. Karlsruhe Cartridge factory 1903. Can anyone talk me through the other marks especially the two rising sun marks.

Crown. M. . C/97 98. I. 1903. Karlsruhe 60.

Round included.

This is a Naval use case. The "crown over M" marking seen right at the top indicates acceptance by the Kaiserliche Marine. This case was manufactured in January 1903.

Sorry, I missed this part. The two "flaming bomb" symbols are part of the manufacturers marking ("trademark"). Indicating manufacture by Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe.
