Can anyone talk me through the other marks especially the two rising sun marks. Crown. M. . C/97 98. I. 1903. Karlsruhe 60. Round included. shippingsteel Posted 18 February , 2016 Share Posted 18 February , 2016 This is a Naval use case. The "crown over M" marking seen right at the top indicates acceptance by the Kaiserliche Marine. The two "flaming bomb" symbols are part of the manufacturers marking ("trademark"). Indicating manufacture by Patronenfabrik Karlsruhe.
