I know he joined the Loyal North Lancs in Jan 1916 and trained at Grantham. Family sources suggest he ended up at Passchendaele, but we are just not sure. He wouldn't say anything about it and so all the details went with him to his grave in 1965. I refer to him below in my signature: Augustine Myerscough. Any help would be wonderful.
