All I know so far is that he was born in Reading in 1875, and died in London in 1961. He served in India (1893) and South Africa (1900) whilst with the 16th Lancers. He also served with the same regiment in the First World War in France (1915) and in Italy (1918). During the Second World War he was a mounted railway security guard.
