Mark Hone Posted 22 November , 2004 Share Posted 22 November , 2004 I am currently researching some of the memorials and historical artifacts associated with our school for a publication. Decorating a corridor at what is now our Girls' School (but was originally the Boys') is a very nice wooden-framed mirror inscribed 'HMS Ajax Grand Fleet'. I am assuming that it was donated by an old boy who served on the ship, but as I am not a naval expert I was wondering if any Pal could give me a brief rundown on the vessel. I assume that we are talking about the battleship of that name which served at Jutland.
