KONDOA Posted 20 November , 2004 Share Posted 20 November , 2004 Evening Chums, On recently acquired pics of 545 SB I note many ranks with inverted arm chevrons in addition to their usual rank chevron. Can anyone please illuminate this phenomena?? Roop
HarryBettsMCDCM Posted 20 November , 2004 Share Posted 20 November , 2004 They are Service & Good Conduct chevrons, indicating length of Service ;etc;they were awarded in different Colours I believe{Red & Blue}with one Colour replacing so many of the Other Colour as Service Progressed. roger Posted 21 November , 2004 Share Posted 21 November , 2004 The chevrons on the pic are Overseas Service Chevrons. Good Conduct Chevrons were worn on the left cuff. If you do a search for them there has been quite a few threads on the subject. Roger.
