A family name I'm hunting for medals etc to.

Lost at sea December 18th 1917:

Remembered on the Tower Hill Memorial, London.

SS Coningbeg was sunk by U-62 – with the loss of 83 lives – while returning to Waterford from Liverpool. Two days previously, U-62 has also sunk the sister ship, SS Formby, off the Wicklow coast with the loss of 39 lives.
