spike10764 Posted 19 November , 2004 Share Posted 19 November , 2004 Met a CWGC inspector the other day, checking graves at the above churchyard, whilst I was photographing them. Nice lad, had a chat with him, and, it turns out he checks this site every now and again. If you are reading this- The part sunken stone I recalled(but not the location) was TELFORD D in Bromfield(St. Mungo) Churchyard(about 6 miles sw of Wigton, Cumbria). Thanks for taking the time to chat and increasing my appreciation of what you do(he covers at least 5 counties-mentioned Leeds as his beat also- of scattered graves) I for one don't envy his travelling.
