CROONAERT Posted 10 May , 2003 Share Posted 10 May , 2003 Similar to my last posting. Any information at all, about this Austrian unit (especially between 1907 and 1918) would be gratefully received. Thanks , Dave.
Ralph J. Whitehead Posted 11 May , 2003 Share Posted 11 May , 2003 Dave, I did a little checking and found some scattered references to the 93rd IR. THe site I checked first was http://www.austro-hungarian-army.co.uk/ A little further dearching found the following: 93 IR, 9th Inf. Brigade, 5th Division, Galicia Front in August 1914, the Northern Front. In 1918 the 93rd was apparently in the 34th Division and was in Kiev on 1 June 1918, subordinate to German Army Group von Eichorn. It left for Serbia 14 October 1918. I know it is not much but I hope it helps. Ralph
