Dear all

Just wondering if anyone knows when the first Ammonal Tubes were used by the BEF.

I was looking through the War Diaries of the 139th Brigade and 46th North Midland Division and they record the (apparent?) first use (by this Division) during a raid by the Sherwood Foresters on 8/9th September.

And apparently quite successful
