Hi Bill,

Some details on B Class destroyers --- (from "British Warships" Dittmar/Colledge)

20 destroyers in that class among them HMS WOLF .

In general they were of 355 to 400 tons; average dimensions: 215x21x6ft. Triple expansion engines, avg 6000 ihp, speed aprox 30 knots. Armament was 1-12 pounder, 5 - 6 pounder deck guns, & 2 18" torpedo tubes.

HMS Wolf had pennant numbers: D98 (1914); D95 (Sept 1915);D97(Jan 1918).

Generally speaking the older A to E class destroyers in 1914 formed the coastal Patrol Flotillas or Local Defence Forces.

I am not 100% on the crew size but I would estimate about 70-90 officers & men.
