Fao Steve Garnett

Can you look up the 83rd Royal Artillery Brigade for the death of a 2nd Lieutenant Thomas Tudor Thorp. who was killed on the 16th August 1917, apparently acting as forward observation officer.

De Ruvigny gives a general description, but would the War Diary give a better description of what happened to him. 'D' Battery, And was he in the same battery at the Somme from Setember through to November.?

See this link for details http://www.newmp.org.uk/article.php?categoryid=99&articleid=1432&displayorder=91

Many thanks

Jim
