danbetis Posted 5 July , 2015 Share Posted 5 July , 2015 HI all Continuing my research on POWs at Yatesbury I was wondering if there were any regulations on what German POWs could wear or take with them after capture and transport to Britain? I have seen photographs of German POWs in uniform but what did the bring with them - canteens? webbing? blankets, mess tins etc? And the patches that designate some POWs - does anyone know when these were introduced and why?
