Some Help with This Unknown Officer

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help with this one.

An unknown Officer was buried with red circular patch on the shoulder and a red rectangle on the epuelette, as anyone come across this insignia in there research or any connection to the Manchester Regt.

Thank you for any help.

Hello Roy

You would be better off posting this in the Insignia subforum of the Paraphernalia of War section.

Good luck!

The 2/6th Bn Manchesters wore a red circle (all 199th Bde wore circles of various colours) Don't know about the rectangle - possibly a company i/d.
