Boreenatra Posted 12 November , 2004 Share Posted 12 November , 2004 Dear Conor. Do you have or know of any information re the RMF Depot in Tralee.I've posted a couple of queries before on the forum but seem to have difficulty finding info on soldiers who were actually there in 1915.Our man,Pte John Guerins would appear to have died in the Barracks (he is buried in the Military Cemetery in Tralee) 25/3/1915, aged 46.We've found at the NA his past military record which includes the Leinster Regiment / The Waterford Regiment / The Irish Fusiliers Reserve Regiment. and some mention of the Burma Medal and South Africa as well.Is there any published stuff concerning Other Ranks which may give us more info? Anything pointing us in the right direction greatly appreciated.Regards Steve.
