Andrew & Pat

I wasn't at the service but walked through that way at 2.30 pm.There was a steady trickle of people visiting at that time although they don't appear in the photograph. I was there when the Australian Memorial in London was originally "opened " and since then, when going that way, I stop and read through some of the thousands of place names engraved on the surfaces. The Memorial is a very effective way in which to pay tribute to all those communities across the world and the men and women that they lost.
