On one of my MIC's Holland HL was promoted to 2nd Lt and in someway connected to what I read to be Shropshire CS suggestions were Cadet Sch. I have just searched through www.gazettes-online.co.uk The London Gazette He was promoted into the Shropshire Light Infantry which I suppose anyone could miss read for "CS" Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
leigh Posted 12 November , 2004 Share Posted 12 November , 2004 Ben, I am not sure what you are asking here but if he was promoted during the war then he would have probably gone to an officer cadet thing. (cant remember the correct term). If he was 2Lt then his rservice records should be at the PRO. I just had a brief look, but no HL Holland. Lots of H Hollands though. L.
