Hello all,

I have been conducting research of my Great Great Grandad, Alexander Flounders, He served in the Durham RGA in Hartlepool and was present for the Bombardment on 16 Dec 14.

After finding other information I found that the Durham RGA in Hartlepool was then made part of 41st Siege Battery RGA and deployed to France in 09 Dec 15.

Im now trying to gather any other information of what happened to the remnants of the RGA in Hartlepool and what the 41st Siege Bty did in France.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Daniel.

Ive attached a photo of the RGA shortly after the Bombardment of Hartlepool. My Great Grandad is on the 5th row from the bottom, 7th in from the left as you look at it. He has no cap badge in his cap as this was blown out during the confusion.
