Treatment of Wounded at the Quai

This is my first post so forgive if I'm in the wrong part of the forum.

I'm research Pte Thomas Fenn, 16th Middlesex. He was wounded at Hawthorn redoubt on 1 July 1916. I have found a reference to him being treated at the Quai and the hospital ship HMHS Lanfranc.

I'm also researching Pte Daniel John Williams of 1/2nd City of London Royal Fusiliers who was also treated at the Quai and then HMHS Lanfranc on 2 July 1916.

Can anyone help with more information about Pte Williams. The family myth suggests he suffered a Blighty wound when he was shot through the head.

I would also like to know if the Quai referred to in the records of both men is the No.2 General Hospital, Quai d'Escale Le Havre,
