gilly100 Posted 6 April , 2015 Share Posted 6 April , 2015 Thanks Scott This one I have mixed feelings on. Sure to generate some debate and agitation. They do seem to have done some research on the location. Ian

michaeldr Posted 6 April , 2015 Share Posted 6 April , 2015 Hi Eric, Yes indeed; I enjoyed seeing old blue Tank and spotting the familiar backdrops to the interviews Your guests have produced a compelling video and I wish them every success Michael
Waddell Posted 6 April , 2015 Author Share Posted 6 April , 2015 It is the second story that appeared yesterday. This one appeared with Mark Donaldson VC and Len (from this forum). They are looking for 45th Battalion men who fell during Messines. https://au.news.yahoo.com/vic/video/watch/26944045/search-for-anzacs-grave/ I'm curious if the group looking for a grave site at Bullecourt several months ago have had any success. ShirlD Posted 6 April , 2015 Share Posted 6 April , 2015 Thanks for this Scott, had missed it, I will be very interested to see the outcome Cheers Shirley
roel22 Posted 7 April , 2015 Share Posted 7 April , 2015 As much as I sympathize with these efforts, I can understand why governments are very reluctant to cooperate. The excavation and reburials in Fromelles turned out to be very costly (nearly one million euros for the cemetery alone), new excavations will not be any cheaper. And I'm quite sure there will be many other spots where missing soldiers may be found (I'm very curious about one myself). Roel
