akduerden Posted 30 March , 2015 Share Posted 30 March , 2015 My grandfather enlisted on the 7th December 1914 but did not head to Glasgow until the next day. He enlisted at a location near Somerset House. Does anyone know where he would likely have stayed that night? He enlisted in the RFA - were there any barracks near by.
