steve140968 Posted 8 November , 2004 Share Posted 8 November , 2004 I have just accuired a 1914-15 star medal for a 'GNR' ROBERTS of the ROYAL FIELD ARTILLERY . Firstly has anybody any info on the soldier in question other than his MIC. And also can anybody shed any light on what 'GNR' ROBERTS duties may have involved , and at what battles he would likely to have fought at whilst serving with this regiment. Roberts, T F Royal Field Artillery 40436 Gunner Roberts, William J Royal Field Artillery 1452 Gunner Royal Field Artillery 276552 Gunner other than his MIC The MIC will tell you theatre of operations and may have other clues including 1914-15 star confirmation.
