I cannot find him on CWGC, and I have all that I think you need to take it up with them

The long and short is he died in March 1920 in Ireland while under guard and jumped off a train. There was an Inquest/Coroner of Inquiry that established he was dead, and he was buried in Templemore Ireland. The most relevant documents are these one below, but his full service record is on FmP - click (I warn you it is long)
