Can anyone help me research a soldiers history ?

His name is A Daffurn,serving with the Princess Pat's,KIA 8th May 1915.

Any info on him and what and where happened to him ?

118 Daffurn Alfred. Died on or since 8/5/15
Previously reported missing believed killed. Now for official purposes presumed to have died.
Vicinity of Bellewaarde Lake.

You might also find the following book useful - 'Escape of Princess Pat'. It is available as a free download here:

I think his account starts from around 20th April up to what he calls the 'Last Stand' on the 8th May.
