The following sailor was killed, along with some of his family, in an air raid on London.

What is HMS P14, please....??

Yup, same class. The P-boats were intentionally designed to look like big submarines (low freeboard, sharply cutaway funnels, small turning circle). The idea was that they might be taken for an U-boat by a real U-boat, and be able to close near enough for a kill. All serve with Dover Patrol, Nore Local Defence Flotilla, or Portsmouth Escort Force.

P 14 was built by Connell. Armament for the class: 4-inch gun, 40 mm gun, 2 14 inch torpedo tubes plus depth charges. Top speed: 20 knots.
