sotonmate Posted 13 January , 2015 Share Posted 13 January , 2015 86 Provisional Battalion TF raised at Plymouth in Aug 1915 for Home Service only (LLT). Soldier enlisted at Plymouth and was buried at home,Ashington, Northumberland. No age seen and couldn't isolate him from a group of similar names mostly from the Yorkshire area. Will take another look now. Edit: isolating a search to 1911 only there is a 19 year old male of this name born in Darnall,Yorkshire in 1892 and living in Sheffield in 1911. The only hit.
