Researching a john henry Adams, kia queens 13 10 15, contacted local library, however librarian states that the local papers hold no info during the war due to secrecy, is this true or a brush off, any info or assistance would be appreciated, Geoff

Had a quick scan but cannot locate any info or a photo, it is a pity the Abergavenny Mail is only online until the beginning of August 1914, fingers crossed i may locate something on this chap in the future

Have a look at the archives held by Library of Wales. Some paperwork over some RE lads getting a bit naughty with damage in Abergavenny!

?????, whereabouts, Geoff

National Library of Wales. Archives are online there. Search Abergavenny and Given period, lot of archives on there.

EDIT normal squaddie damage not anything going bang by the way.
