Coventry History Centre, Coventry and the surrounding towns and villages. In particular, The Coventry and Warwickshire Graphic which also contains hundreds of photographs. The entries in this publication have been indexed by the Coventry Family History Society. The Coventry Herald is also worth checking.

All 4 main libraries in Kirklees have all the local papers for the war period on microfiches, but best get any research done before they shut them down cost cutting ordered by the ConDems.

Cheers Roger.

Oh look I have just turned 1000 posts. I'm off to Skindles now to celebrate.
