Recruiting Office Moor End, Great Sampford

The perils of being the one who everyone in the family knows is interested...

I've just been informed over the phone, via a third party, that a distant cousin visited the new WWI exhibition at the IWM, and saw a reference to a Recruitment Office at Moor End, Great Sampford (Essex, back of beyond) for "The Bardfield Group".

A) Has anyone any idea what he might have seen and how I might find out more, short of trekking to the IWM and hoping I see the same thing?
