John_Hartley Posted 18 December , 2014 Share Posted 18 December , 2014 There's been a couple of threads recently discussing the truce and, in particular, football. So far, I remain fairly convinced that there is evidence from men of 6th Cheshires that there was something of a kickabout with a small ball. I've not seen anything to suggest that the Germans joined in, although it seems probable that they would have done. Certainly nothing to suggest anything of a proper match, as such. Admin spof Posted 18 December , 2014 Admin Share Posted 18 December , 2014 Egbert As John has said, there are several threads about the alleged football match and the Truce in general. As an experienced Forum user I'm sure you won't have any trouble finding them. I'm locking this thread. Glen GWF Admin Team
