Hi all,

Been reading about the recruitment of the A.I.F. recently and inferred from what I read that Australia found it difficult to recruit from some essential industries, and I presumed that this was because of relatively fewer women flowing into the industrial workforce than in Europe. (For inferred and presumed, feel free to read "guessed" )

This forum being the amazing resource that it is, I was wondering if anyone out there had any figures for female workforce participation rates during the war across the various participants?
