theodore Posted 14 December , 2014 Share Posted 14 December , 2014 The Express & Star newspaper (Wolverhampton) had a report (30 December 1914) regarding the death (KiA 2.10.1914) of Private 9721 Joseph Hartland of the 2nd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment. The piece has a photograph of Joseph but I have not been able to obtain a copy and if any member can supply me with the photo it would be very much appreciated. GraemeClarke Posted 16 December , 2014 Share Posted 16 December , 2014 Hi Just wondering where you live because most of the local history centres carry the Express and Star copies, offhand I can name Walsall and Wolverhampton, Regards, Graeme

GraemeClarke Posted 23 December , 2014 Share Posted 23 December , 2014 Hi Wolvesarchives I'm glad you replied to this thread as it gives me a chance to thank you for the Flickr page. I found it some time ago 'mooching' about the WWW and came across the page. Tons of information for my research. Many thanks for taking the time to create the page, Regards, Graeme
