Gary_cory Posted 7 December , 2014 Share Posted 7 December , 2014 Hi We are trying to find some photos of CLB 16th KRRC members from Leicester who were in WW1. We are putting together a historical project for our trip to Highwood in 2016 to hold a service and parade for those fallen. Kind regards Karen & Gary CLCGB
Lancashire Fusilier Posted 7 December , 2014 Share Posted 7 December , 2014 Hi We are trying to find some photos of CLB 16th KRRC members from Leicester who were in WW1. We are putting together a historical project for our trip to Highwood in 2016 to hold a service and parade for those fallen. Kind regards Karen & Gary CLCGB Karen & Gary, I do not know if you have seen or read the book " With the CLB Battalion in France " written by the Battalion's Chaplain, the Rev. J. Duncan in 1917, if not, here is a link to a free download of the original 1917 version, which should make a great read for you and will hopefully provide you with some excellent information for your project. You can either read the book on line, or download your own copy. https://archive.org/details/withclbbattalion00dunc Regards, LF
