Guest deepathart Posted 2 November , 2004 Share Posted 2 November , 2004 Hi all, On a photo of my Grandad taken when he joined up I have managed to see the buttons on his jacket. Unfortunately I can't put on Forum too blurry when enlarged but these buttons - possibly a fusiliers uniform- looks like two crossed swords or sabres with a crown in the centre above them. Guest deepathart Posted 10 November , 2004 Share Posted 10 November , 2004 Did the Fusiliers have Machine Gun Corps? I don't really understand all the different sections that make up a regiment. I will ask another stupid question. Did the Fusilier regiments ALL have collar badges? I went through the Gallery this morning and found a rather good looking soldier in a Munster Uniform, he had lapel badges that look like the collar badges on Grandads picture.
