Greenland Posted 29 November , 2014 Share Posted 29 November , 2014 I am researching WW1 soldiers who served and are listed on our village church war memorial plaque, one of whom is the above-named man. I am unable to clearly identify where he was located during his time with the above unit and corps. Documentation seems to involve the 'stations' of Chatham, Surbiton, Woolwich, and Bath and a recruiting office in Marlborough. From the uploaded 'Casualty Form - Active Service', would someone be able to help clarify where this man's war service was spent? Thank you for any help given. Phil Evans Posted 29 November , 2014 Share Posted 29 November , 2014 (edited) Looking at Michael Young's book and your extract from his record, I think it is safe to say that his period with 435 HT Coy ASC was spent in Kent, based in Chatham. Greenland Posted 3 December , 2014 Author Share Posted 3 December , 2014 Thank you very much for your response Phil. I had thought this but could not be sure so it is good to have another opinion on the matter. Glynis
