The main site of interest will be Thiepval. I was lucky enough to be there last year, you will find a service at the memorial with many locals, officials and visiting Brits. There is usually a Vin d'honneur at the Marie afterwards.

Throughout the many towns and villages there will be smaller ceremonies, the 11th is of course a holiday in France.

Hi 303 Man

Meet about 10:00 near the Marie in Thiepval (parking is available at the new visitors centre), we move off slowly toward the church with the locals and the lady mayor. Then onto the memorial itself for the service. Look forward to seeing you there, Make yourself known to other WFA members, we will be having lunch at Le Tommy.

John
