Guest mxk1993 Posted 12 November , 2014 Share Posted 12 November , 2014 My son is going to Vimmy in 2017 with the Canadian Army Cadets. His Great Grand Father was in the area in 1917, I would like to find as much information as possible to make the Vimmy trip the best experience for my son. The information I have is, Regimental # 341051, DOB 11/11/1896, Rank GNR, her was in the Kapuskasing Guard from Sept 11 1915 until he joined the CEF July 25 1916, the Attestation Paper say 70th Battery at the end of the war I know he was sent to Murmausk Russia as I have a brass shell casing ingraved. He died in the late 60's in Ontario Canada. Please provide links to were I should look. Regards Bruce Johnson
