Hi Terry

Too early for me, I'm looking for mid-1919, if it's not too cheeky, can I ask where you got it and the cost?

Cheers

Ouch! Makes my postcard purchases look inexpensive.

Terry: how often were such lists published? Were they updated to show those who had been apprehended? Presumably the men's units are given, but what about home addresses that might prompt local police to go and knock on doors?

This one was published on a Tuesday and It reads like they were issued regularly and published by H M Stationary Office.

It lists men from the Serving army. Then a list of absentees from the Territorials followed by a list who failed to turn up when called up via the group system. Another list of navy men and finally a list of men formerly classed as absentees but now turned up an not wanted.

Terry

I have a list of men who deserted from a TF RGA unit during various months from late 1914 to late 1915.

Could the list possibly contain such men or is it restricted to men deserting just before Oct 1916? If the former I could send you the list for a look-up.

Regards

Russ
