Royal Engineers Library / Museum Chatham

I would be very grateful if anyone is going to RE Library at Chatham and could undertake a little errand for me. A few years ago I took my Dad here and we looked at the war diary of the 106th Field Company RE. We were looking for info regarding his uncle Sergeant Albert John Stephens. We were amazed to find a message written on the back of a page commending him after he died. We were at an early stage in our research and were not well prepared and so had no camera. I would be very grateful for a picture.

Many thanks

Joan

Joan, I may still have a contact at Chatham. If you can PM me with your e-mail address I will try to contact him.
