elewis Posted 29 September , 2014 Share Posted 29 September , 2014 A table (available in Excell or PDF) listing over 21,300 Railway workers killed in the Great War combining information from items in NRM archive and library collections (such as railway staff magazines), and the CWGC sitcan be found on the National Railway Museum site at - http://www.nrm.org.uk/NRM/RailwayStories/worldwarone.aspx The NMR holds photographs of over 4,600 of these men, atlhough they are not available on line. [see the GWR thread for links to 2 other sites of photographs for GWR men] Looked like there could be some other useful stuff on the site as well. This also links to a site for the Midland Railway Study Centre and their "King and Country" page - http://www.midlandrailwaystudycentre.org.uk/King_and_Country.php Evan
